Tronic White Round LED Bulkhead, 8W, 6500K Daylight

Our review

This is a round, white bulkhead light from Tronic that runs on 8 watts and puts out 560 lumens at a daylight colour temperature of 6500K. Bulkheads like this are usually chosen for walls and ceilings in corridors, stairwells, bathrooms, kitchens, store rooms and outdoor covered areas, because the enclosed shape suits surfaces where a bare fitting would look untidy. The 6500K output is a crisp, cool white, so it reads as bright and clinical rather than warm and cosy; if you want a softer feel in a living room, a warmer temperature would be a better match. Because the description lists no dimensions, IP rating, dimming support or warranty, check those on the Sokonia listing before you commit, especially the IP rating if the fitting will face rain or heavy steam. It is also worth comparing against similar bulkheads in different wattages and colour temperatures, and against models with a sensor if the light is for a shared passage. Available on Sokonia.
