Tronic White Up and Down Spotlight Wall Lamp

Our review

This Tronic wall lamp is a two-direction spotlight with a plain white matte finish. It sends light upward and downward at the same time, so instead of one bright pool you get a pair of soft washes that frame the fixture on the wall. That makes it a good fit for anyone who wants gentle background light rather than a single task beam: hallways, stairwells, bedroom walls, or a lounge where you would rather not see a bare bulb. Because the design is simple and the surface is matte, it sits quietly against most paint colours and does not draw attention to itself. Before buying, think about how the two beams will land. The spread and the size of the light image depend on how far the lamp sits from the wall and how high it is mounted, so plan the position rather than guessing. Also check what your wall can take, since fittings of this kind are usually wired in, and confirm the bulb type and fitting your electrician expects. Compared with a single downlight, this gives a more balanced, decorative effect; compared with a plain uplighter, it adds light below as well. If you want a calm, symmetrical look on a wall, this is worth considering, and it is available on Sokonia.
