Tronic Wire Mesh Bottle Pendant Light, Black E27 Ceiling Lamp

Our review

This Tronic pendant light is a ceiling fixture shaped like a bottle and wrapped in wire mesh, finished in black. It takes a single E27 bulb and runs on AC 220 to 240V, which matches typical Tanzanian mains supply. At 345mm high and 114mm wide, it is a fairly narrow drop, so it works well over a kitchen island, a dining table, a bedside spot, or a small entryway where a wide shade would crowd the space. The aluminium body keeps it light enough for most ceiling fittings.
Because the bulb is not included, think about what you want from it before buying. A warm white LED will give the cozy, soft glow the mesh is good at diffusing, while a brighter cool bulb will read more functional. Check your ceiling height and the existing pendant cord or rose, since the dimensions above cover the shade rather than the full hanging length. Also confirm your wiring is standard 220 to 240V and that an electrician can reach the mounting point.
Compared with fabric or glass pendants of similar size, a wire mesh shade is more forgiving in busy rooms and tends to suit industrial, minimalist, or rustic interiors. If you want a softer, more traditional look, a fabric drum shade may appeal more. The one-year warranty is worth noting. Available on Sokonia.
