Westpoint 24000 BTU Cassette Air Conditioner WKM-2422.L

Our review

This Westpoint unit is a ceiling cassette air conditioner rated at 24000 BTU, which puts it in the range suited to larger rooms, open-plan living areas, or small commercial spaces rather than a single bedroom. It uses R410a refrigerant with a 1000 gram charge and a rotary compressor, and the listed voltage is 220 to 240 volts at single phase, 50 hertz, so it matches standard Tanzanian mains supply. The energy efficiency ratio is given as 2.61, which is worth comparing against other units in this capacity class if running cost matters to you. Because it is a cassette type, installation is a bigger job than a wall split: it needs ceiling void space, proper drainage routing, and a qualified installer. Before buying, confirm your room's heat load, check that your ceiling can take the unit, and compare cassette versus wall-mounted options for service access. The white and silver finish is a neutral fit for most ceilings. Available on Sokonia.
