Westpoint 294L Defrost Double Door Refrigerator WRMN-3220.ERZ Dark Inox

Our review

This is a two-door Westpoint refrigerator with a 294-litre net capacity, finished in dark grey inox and standing 1785mm tall, so it is worth measuring your kitchen space and doorways before committing. The defrost system is manual rather than frost-free, which means you will need to plan occasional defrosting, but it also tends to mean fewer moving parts and simpler maintenance. It runs on R600a refrigerant at 53g and is rated at 0.715kWh per 24 hours, which is a useful figure to compare against other fridges in this size class if running cost matters to you. The 220-240V/50Hz rating and 0.8A current draw suit standard Tanzanian household supply. At 48kg net, it is a two-person lift, so arrange help on delivery day. Compare against frost-free models of similar capacity if you would rather not defrost by hand, and check the internal layout suits how your household actually shops and stores food. Available on Sokonia.
