Westpoint 6kg Automatic Washing Machine with Inverter, Model WMZ-612A25.S

Our review

This is a 6kg automatic washing machine from Westpoint, sold under model number WMZ-612A25.S and built around an inverter system. Six kilograms suits smaller households: one or two adults, a couple with young children, or anyone who would rather run several modest loads than save up a week of laundry. The feature list leans practical. A steam wash function is handy for refreshing items and loosening creases, the 18-minute quick wash covers lightly soiled clothes on busy days, and a delayed start lets you set the machine to run at a time that suits you. The remaining-time display takes some guesswork out of waiting, and the control board carries a silicon coating, which is worth noting in damp or humid homes. Sixteen programs is generous for this size, so most buyers will find a setting for everyday cottons, delicates and heavier items without much fiddling. The advertised 10-year warranty is the standout claim, but confirm what it actually covers and whether parts and labour are included, since long warranties often apply to specific components only. Before buying, measure the space you have and check the machine's dimensions and loading type, as these are not stated here. Also think about water and power use, and how the inverter compares with a standard motor on running costs. If capacity and budget are your priorities, compare this with other 6kg automatics; if you regularly wash bulky bedding, a larger drum may serve you better. Available on Sokonia.
