The Pioneer TS-A6996S is a 6 x 9 two-way car speaker rated at 100 W nominal and 650 W maximum, with a 4-ohm impedance and 93 dB sensitivity. Its 28 Hz to 38 kHz frequency response is unusually wide for this size, so it can cover deep bass and fine treble from one position. It suits drivers replacing tired factory 6 x 9s in rear decks or parcel shelves, especially where a head unit or amp can feed it clean power. Before buying, confirm your cutout and mounting depth, and check whether your radio or amplifier can supply the 100 W nominal rating; a small head unit alone will not show what the speaker can do.
