It suits someone styling a dining table, stairwell, bedroom or entryway who wants a softer, more sculptural look than a standard drum or globe shade. Before buying, check the ceiling height and the drop you need, since pendant lights hang into the room and can crowd a low ceiling. Also confirm the ceiling fixing and wiring your installer will work with, and think about the room's scale: a wide wave shape can dominate a small space.
