Hisense Cassette Air Conditioner 36000 BTU AUC-36UR4SKKC5

Our review

This is a ceiling cassette air conditioner from Hisense rated at 36000 BTU, which puts it in the larger-capacity bracket rather than the small wall units most homes use. Because it recesses into the ceiling and distributes air in four directions, it suits open-plan living areas, offices, shops, restaurants or larger rooms where a wall-mounted split would struggle to reach the far corners evenly. The built-in air purifying system and healthy dehumidification mode are worth noting if dust or damp air is a concern in your space.
Before buying, think about installation rather than just the unit. A cassette needs ceiling void depth, a drain route and a condensate path, and the high head drain pump matters here because it lets condensate be lifted away when a gravity fall is not possible. Confirm your ceiling type and get an installer to assess the space first. Compare against ducted and floor-standing options on airflow coverage, and against standard splits on installation cost. Also weigh the auto cleaning, child lock and auto restart features against how you actually use the room. Available on Sokonia.
