Tronic Round Surface Mounted Eyelid Bulkhead
TSh 150,000
Our review
This is a round, surface-mounted outdoor light fitting from Tronic, designed with an eyelid shade that sits over the diffuser to direct light downward and shield it from above. The body is made of strong aluminum, and the diffuser is impact-resistant polycarbonate, so it is built to take some knocks. Its IP65 rating means it is sealed against dust and water jets, which is why it is intended for harsh outdoor environments rather than indoor use only.
It suits anyone lighting an exterior wall where the fitting will be exposed to rain, dust, or coastal air, such as a doorway, perimeter wall, or service area. Because it mounts on the surface, it needs a flat, sound fixing point and a cable route into the wall behind it. Before buying, check the voltage and lamp type your circuit uses, since none are stated here, and confirm the eyelid orientation gives the light spread you want. Compare it with other aluminum bulkheads on fixing method, diffuser material, and IP rating.
