Ingco Spirit Level 40cm Aluminum HSL18040

Our review

This is a 40cm spirit level from Ingco, made of aluminum with a 1.1mm thickness and the brand's own design. It comes packed in a color sleeve. The 40cm length sits in the middle of the usual range, so it handles tasks like checking door frames, window sills, shelves, and short wall runs without being awkward in tight spots. It suits a homeowner doing repairs, a carpenter, or a tiler who needs a reliable everyday level rather than a long one for big slabs. Before buying, think about the length you actually need: a 40cm tool is handy for confined areas but too short for checking long countertops or full wall sections, where a 60cm or 1m level gives a truer reading. Also confirm the vial type and count, since those affect how you read both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Compare against other aluminum levels in the same size, looking at wall thickness and how the vials are set, because a sturdier frame resists bending and keeps its accuracy. Ingco is a known budget-friendly brand, so weigh that against premium names if precision matters for professional work. The item is available on Sokonia.
