Tronic Glossy White 1 Gang Blank Plate

Our review

This Tronic blank plate is a single-gang cover in a glossy white finish, made to close off a wall box that no longer serves a purpose or was left empty after construction. It suits anyone tidying up after removing a switch, socket or old outlet, and it is also handy when a cable point is being kept for possible future use. Before buying, confirm the box is a standard single-gang size and that the glossy white will sit well beside your existing fittings, since finish and shade vary between ranges. Compare it with patching and repainting the wall, which takes more time and effort, or with plates from other brands that may differ in sheen and thickness. No specifications are listed, so check the fit and screw spacing against your box on arrival.
