Hisense 48,000 BTU Cassette Inverter Air Conditioner AUC-48UR/TR
TSh 5,632,000
Our review
This is a ceiling-recessed cassette air conditioner from Hisense with a 48,000 BTU cooling capacity and inverter operation, sold as cooling only. The cassette format distributes air from a ceiling panel rather than a wall unit, which suits open commercial floors, halls, restaurants, or large residential rooms where wall space is limited and even airflow matters. Inverter control is the main reason to consider it over a fixed-speed unit of similar capacity, since it modulates output instead of switching on and off. Before buying, confirm your ceiling void depth and panel cut-out can take a cassette, check that a 48,000 BTU unit matches your room's heat load, and make sure your power supply and wiring can handle a unit of this size. Compare against ducted and floor-standing options of similar capacity, and against other cassette inverters, on refrigerant type, noise, and whether installation and pipe runs are included.
