Tronic Grey TV and Data Socket

Our review

This is a wall socket from Tronic, finished in grey, that gives you a single connection point for a television or signal receiver and the cable running to your aerial. It also carries data, so it can serve a feed that is not purely coaxial TV signal. The slim profile, smooth edges and shiny surface are meant to sit quietly in a modern home or office rather than stand out. It suits anyone wiring a room from scratch, replacing a cracked or dated faceplate, or adding a tidy outlet behind a wall-mounted TV. Before buying, check the type of connector your aerial cable and receiver use, and confirm the box depth your wall or back box allows, since a slim faceplate still needs room behind it. Compare it with plain coaxial-only outlets if you do not need the data side, and with metal or white finishes if grey will not match your room. If you want one outlet to handle both jobs, this is worth a look, and it is available on Sokonia.
