Tronic 1.5mm 4 Core Flexible Cable, 100m, Made in Tanzania

Our review

This is a 100-metre reel of 1.5mm four-core flexible cable from Tronic, PVC insulated and made in Tanzania, with conductors drawn from 99.9% pure copper. Four-core flexible cable of this size is typically chosen for wiring where a circuit needs a live, neutral, earth and one extra core, or for small three-phase connections, control panels and equipment feeds. It suits electricians, contractors and anyone wiring a home, workshop or small commercial space who wants a single reel rather than cut lengths. Before buying, confirm the conductor size and core count match your circuit design and that your protective device is rated for 1.5mm cable, since undersized cable on a heavily loaded circuit is a common and costly mistake. Check the insulation is undamaged along the full reel and that the copper is bright, not dull or discoloured. Compare against other 1.5mm four-core flexible cables on conductor purity, country of manufacture and reel length, and against cheaper aluminium or copper-coated alternatives, which conduct less well. It is available on Sokonia.
