Hisense FC250SH Chest Freezer 189L with Fast Freeze

Our review

This is a chest freezer from Hisense, listed as the FC250SH with a 189-litre capacity, a fast freeze function, an external condenser coil and R600 refrigerant gas. The listing title also calls it energy-efficient, and the brand's own summary describes a spacious appliance in a black finish built for preserving large quantities of food or adding extra storage. Chest freezers like this generally suit households that buy meat, fish or produce in bulk, small food businesses, and anyone who wants a backup freezer rather than daily fridge access. Because it opens from the top, it holds more than an upright of similar footprint but takes up floor space and is harder to organise. Before buying, confirm the exact model number, since the title and summary mention different capacities, and check the dimensions against your space, the voltage and plug type, and whether the lid opens left or right. Compare it with upright freezers if you need easy access, and with smaller chest models if 189 litres is more than you need. It is available on Sokonia.
