Tronic Floor Socket 2G Universal with RJ45 Data

Our review

This is a twin floor socket from Tronic, made in soft-edged polished stainless steel with a seamless surface and a cover that keeps dust and impurities out of the openings. The two gang positions are universal, and there is also an RJ45 data port, so one floor point can serve power and a network connection together. It suits anyone planning floor-level outlets in a home office, living area or commercial space where trailing cables are unwanted. Before buying, confirm the mounting box depth and cutout your floor or screed allows, check that your wiring and network cable routing reach the point, and decide whether you need data alongside power. Compare it with plain plastic floor boxes and single-gang alternatives: stainless steel resists wear better in walk-over spots, but the cover and frame need a clean cutout to sit flush.
