Tronic Downlighter LED 3W Warm White

Our review

This is a small recessed ceiling light from Tronic, rated at 3 watts and designed to give a warm white glow rather than a cool, clinical one. That warmth makes it a reasonable pick for rooms where you want a softer feel, such as bedrooms, hallways, small lounges or cosy corners, and the low wattage suits anyone trying to keep lighting energy use modest. Because it is a downlighter, it is meant to sit flush in a ceiling and direct light downward, so it works best as accent or ambient lighting rather than as the single source for a large room. Before buying, check the cut-out size your ceiling already has, the fitting type and whether your wiring suits a downlight, since none of those details are listed here. Compare it with other 3W warm white downlighters on brightness, beam angle and build quality, and decide whether you need several units to light a space evenly.
