Tronic G9 LED Capsule Bulb 4W Daylight 6500K

Our review

This Tronic capsule bulb is a 4W G9 LED that produces a 6500K daylight tone, so the light reads cool and crisp rather than warm. At 480 lumens it is bright for its size, and the 17mm by 55mm body is small enough to slot into compact decorative fittings where a standard bulb will not go. It suits anyone lighting a modern indoor space who wants clear, white visibility, and it works well in fixtures that take several small capsules, such as a row of wall lights or a bathroom mirror strip. Before buying, check that your fitting actually takes a G9 base and that the bulb's dimensions clear the shade or glass cover, since tight decorative housings leave little room. Also think about colour temperature: 6500K is noticeably cooler than the 2700K to 3000K warm bulbs common in living areas, so it is better suited to kitchens, bathrooms, workspaces or task lighting than to a cosy bedside lamp. Compared with halogen G9 capsules, an LED like this typically runs cooler and uses less power, but brightness and beam feel vary between models, so match the lumen figure to the old bulb you are replacing. If you need dimming, confirm compatibility first, as that detail is not stated here. Available on Sokonia.
