Decakila Single Coil Plate Electric Stove 1000W KECC001B

Our review

This Decakila unit is a single-burner portable electric stove built around a coil plate and a stainless burner, rated at 1000W with a heat setting. Because it is a coil rather than a solid hotplate or induction surface, it works with ordinary flat-bottomed pots and pans, including ones that would not respond to induction. Its size and portability make it a sensible pick for a bedsitter or small kitchen with limited counter space, for a student room, for a backup burner when the main cooker is out of action, or for taking along on a trip where you know there will be power. Before buying, think about what you normally cook: a single 1000W burner is fine for boiling, simmering, frying an egg or reheating, but it will not match a full stove for large pots or high-heat searing, and you will be cooking one dish at a time. Compare it with other single-burner options by looking at the plate type, the wattage, how the heat is controlled, and how stable and easy to clean the body is. Also check the plug and voltage requirements for where you intend to use it, and whether the surface size suits your usual sufuria or pan. It is available on Sokonia.
