Our review
This is a 24-inch high-velocity drum fan from Dolphin, model ME-DF24, built around a 220W motor running at 1050RPM. The all-metal body and aluminium blades point to a unit meant for moving a lot of air over a wide area rather than for quiet bedroom use, and the adjustable tilt lets you aim that airflow up, down or straight ahead. It suits workshops, garages, warehouses, event tents, gyms and large open living spaces where ceiling fans or small pedestal fans struggle. Before buying, think about where it will sit: a drum fan of this size takes up floor space and is best placed where its noise will not bother anyone, and you should confirm the surface is stable since the tilt setting only helps if the unit stays put. Check that the BS plug cord reaches your nearest socket, or plan for an extension. Compared with plastic-bodied alternatives, the metal construction and aluminium blades are the main differentiators here, so weigh those against lighter, more portable fans if you need to move it often.
