Dolphin Stand Fan 1850 with Timer and Speed Control
TSh 129,500
Our review
The Dolphin 1850 is a pedestal fan built around two conveniences: a timer and speed control. The timer lets you set the fan to switch itself off, which suits bedrooms, rented rooms and anyone who dislikes leaving an appliance running unattended. Speed control means you can drop it to a gentle setting for sleeping or push it higher for daytime heat. The blades are plastic, so they are lighter than metal ones and easier to wipe clean. Before buying, check the height range and base footprint against your space, and confirm the timer increments and blade diameter, since those details are not listed here. Compare with other stand fans on noise at low speed, timer range and whether the head oscillates. It best suits a buyer who wants simple, timed airflow rather than remote or app controls.
