Dolphin 16-Inch Wall Fan with Remote, Model ME-1605WP-R

Our review

This is a Dolphin wall-mounted fan with a 16-inch span and five blades, sold under model number ME-1605WP-R. Because it fixes to a wall rather than standing on the floor, it suits rooms where space is tight or where you want airflow higher up, such as bedrooms, sitting rooms or small offices. The remote control is the main convenience here, letting you change settings without reaching for a cord, and the three-speed regulator gives you a slow setting for sleeping and a faster one for hot afternoons. Dolphin describes the motor as high-powered and the operation as quiet, though how quiet it feels in your room will depend on the speed you choose and how solidly the wall bracket is fixed. Before buying, check your wall type and mounting height, confirm the fan's blade span fits the space, and think about whether you need oscillation or a timer, since those are not listed for this model. Compare it with pedestal and ceiling fans: a wall fan frees up floor space but cannot be moved between rooms. Available on Sokonia.
