The Ingco GE30005 is a portable petrol generator built around a 210ml four-stroke OHV engine. It produces a maximum output of 2.8kW and a rated output of 2.5kW at 3000rpm, delivering 220-240V at 50Hz. Starting is by recoil pull, ignition is T.C.I, and the alternator uses aluminium wire. Cooling is air-cooled, which keeps the design simple and avoids coolant checks. This suits a household or small workshop that needs backup power for lights, a fridge, a TV, or modest power tools during outages. Before buying, work out the running watts of everything you want to power at once and compare that total with the 2.5kW rated figure, not the 2.8kW maximum, since the rated number is the one meant for continuous use. Motors in fridges and tools draw extra power at startup, so leave headroom. Also check the fuel tank capacity and runtime if long outages matter to you, and confirm the recoil start is acceptable rather than assuming an electric start. Compare against other 2.5kW-class generators on engine size, alternator material, and starting method, and weigh whether a slightly larger unit would cover your load more comfortably.
