Our review
The Ingco GE65006 is a petrol generator built around a 420ml air-cooled four-stroke OHV engine, producing a rated 5.0kW and a maximum 6.5kW at 3000rpm. It runs at 220-240V and 50Hz, matching Tanzanian mains power, and offers two starting methods: recoil and electric. The copper wire alternator is worth noting, since copper windings generally handle heat and load better than aluminium alternatives. This suits a household, shop or small workshop that needs backup power for lights, fridges, freezers, TVs, fans and power tools during outages, rather than someone wanting to run heavy industrial equipment continuously. Before buying, check the running wattage of everything you plan to connect at once, and remember that motors and compressors draw extra power at startup. Compare it with similar 5kW petrol generators on engine size, starting system, alternator material and fuel tank capacity, since those details separate models in this class. Confirm the exact included accessories and fuel capacity with the seller, as these are not listed here. Available on Sokonia.
