This is a heavy-duty pipe wrench from Ingco, sized 48 and built around a ductile cast iron body with a black polished finish. The mobile jaw is drop-forged from carbon steel and given an inactivate treatment, and the head is held together with a solid rivet rather than a pin. Its maximum clamping diameter is 110mm, so it is aimed at plumbers, pipefitters and maintenance crews turning larger threaded pipe, fittings and stubborn joints where a smaller wrench would slip or flex. Before buying, check the pipe or fitting diameter you actually work with against that 110mm limit, and confirm the 48 size matches the leverage and storage space you have, because a wrench this long is awkward in tight corners. Compare it with aluminium or lighter pipe wrenches if you carry tools all day, and with adjustable or chain wrenches if you need to grip plastic or finished surfaces. It arrives packed by paper card.
