Ingco Wood Chisel 22mm HWC0822 CRV Blade

Our review

This is a single 22mm wood chisel from Ingco, listed as model HWC0822 with a 22 x 140mm size and a CRV blade. The blade material matters because chrome-vanadium steel is commonly chosen for edge retention and resistance to wear when cutting softwoods and hardwoods. It arrives packed individually in double blister packaging, so it is a standalone purchase rather than part of a set. It suits carpenters, joiners and DIY users who need one mid-size chisel for paring, chopping and general timber work. Before buying, check the handle type and whether you prefer a set, since 22mm is a useful middle size but not a substitute for a full range. Compare bevel-edge versus firmer chisels, handle material, and whether you need a striking cap for mallet work.
