Ingco Rubber Hammer HRUH8808, 8oz/220g, Fiberglass Handle

Our review

This Ingco rubber hammer is a soft-face striking tool built around an 8oz/220g rubber head on a fiberglass handle. The rubber head is non-spark and the faces are non-marring, so it is aimed at work where a steel hammer would dent, scratch or mark the surface you are hitting. That makes it a sensible pick for assembling furniture, tapping joints or parts into place, setting tiles or laminate, and light panel or trim work where you want force without damage. Before buying, think about the weight you need: 220g suits controlled, lighter taps rather than heavy demolition, so if you plan to drive stakes or break material, a heavier mallet or a metal hammer is the better match. Also check the handle length and grip suit your hands and working height, and confirm the head size fits the parts you will strike. Compared with wooden or all-rubber mallets, the fiberglass handle is the main difference here, so weigh that against cheaper alternatives if budget matters. Available on Sokonia.
