Ingco Spirit Level 80cm with Powerful Magnets, Model HSL38080M

Our review

This is an 80cm aluminium spirit level from Ingco, sold as the HSL38080M and fitted with four powerful magnets along its base. The body is double side milled and 1.5mm thick, with a double flat surface design, and the vials are rated to 0.5mm/m accuracy. The magnets make it useful on steel frames, columns, door frames and scaffolding where you want both hands free, while the 80cm length sits between a short 40cm level for tight work and a 120cm level for long runs. Before buying, think about the surfaces you check most: magnets only help on ferrous metal, so for masonry, timber or tile you are relying on the milled edges alone. Compare the vial accuracy figure and the number of vials against other levels in this size, and confirm the length suits your typical span, since an 80cm tool can feel long in confined spaces. It is available on Sokonia.
