Our review
The Kenwood HGM50.000SI is a contact grill with an adjustable grill position, so it can be used closed as a contact grill or opened out flat as an open grill. Kenwood rates it at 1800W and describes it as a bimetal health grill aimed at oil-free cooking, with an adjustable temperature dial and a cool-touch handle. That combination suits someone who wants one countertop appliance for quick closed grills of meat, fish or vegetables, and occasionally a wider open surface for a family dinner. Before buying, think about the space it takes when fully opened, whether you prefer a fixed-temperature health grill or one you can dial down, and how the flat position compares with a dedicated griddle or a smaller sandwich press. Check the plate material and cleaning instructions on the Sokonia listing, since those details are not given here. It is available on Sokonia.
