Luminarc Tempered Mug 25, Set of 6

Our review

This is a six-piece mug set from Luminarc, listed as the Tempered Mug 25. Tempered glass is the key detail here: it is glass that has been heat-treated to handle thermal shock better than ordinary glass, which matters if you pour hot tea or coffee into a cold mug. The set format suits households that want matching mugs for daily use, or anyone replacing a mismatched cupboard in one go. Before buying, check the listed capacity and dimensions on Sokonia, since the number 25 in the name may refer to a size or model reference rather than volume. Compare with stoneware or ceramic mugs if you prefer thicker walls that hold heat longer, and with basic glass mugs if budget matters more than durability. Also consider whether you want a handle shape that fits your hand and cupboards. Confirm the piece count and condition on arrival, as glassware can be vulnerable in transit.
