Ocean Classic Brandy Glasses, 255ml, Set of 2 (Model 3501x0902g0002)

Our review

These are two Classic brandy glasses from Ocean, each holding 255ml, or roughly nine ounces. The bowl measures 80mm across, the rim 63mm, the foot 54mm, and the glass stands 112mm tall at about 140 grams. They are made from soda-lime glass, which Ocean describes as hygienic, clear and durable, and both the dishwasher and refrigerator are fine for them.
A glass this size suits someone who likes a measured pour of brandy, rum or a spirit served neat, and the short stem keeps the hand away from the bowl so the drink warms slowly. It is also a sensible shape for after-dinner liqueurs or a small serve of whisky.
Before buying, note that the listing summary mentions both a six-piece set and a 225ml size alongside the 255ml figure, so confirm exactly what the two-piece pack contains and the capacity you will receive. Compare against tulip-shaped snifters if you want more aroma concentration, or against larger balloon glasses if you prefer a bigger pour. Check the rim diameter against your cupboard space too.
