Sony HT-S100 2.1ch 120W Soundbar with Bluetooth and Dolby Digital

Our review
The Sony HT-S100 is a compact 2.1-channel soundbar rated at 120W, built for TVs around 40 inches. It uses a two-channel speaker setup with a built-in tweeter and a Bass Reflex speaker for deeper low end, plus S-Force Front Surround processing. HDMI ARC keeps the TV connection to a single cable, and Bluetooth and USB cover music playback from other devices. It suits someone upgrading from flat TV speakers in a small to medium room who wants clearer dialogue without a full surround system. Before buying, confirm your TV supports HDMI ARC and measure your shelf or stand space, since the space-saving design still needs a spot near the screen. Compare it with other 2.1 soundbars that include a separate subwoofer, which will typically dig deeper on bass, and with larger multi-channel bars if you want true rear-channel effects.
