Tronic 1 Gang 2 Way Switch, Standard, White, 10A

Our review

This is a single-gang, two-way switch from Tronic's standard range, finished in white with smooth edges meant to sit neatly in modern homes and offices. Because it is two-way, it is the type you use where one light needs to be controlled from two positions, such as at the top and bottom of a staircase or at both doors of a room. It is rated 10A at AC 220-240V, which suits ordinary lighting circuits rather than heavy loads like water heaters. The face measures 90mm by 90mm and the body is Bakelite, so check that your mounting box and existing plate size match before ordering. Compare it with one-way switches if you only need single-point control, and with other finishes if white will not match your wall. Confirm the wiring arrangement with your electrician, since two-way circuits need an extra traveller wire. It carries a one-year warranty and is available on Sokonia.
