This Tronic holder is a dual-fit socket, meaning the same unit accepts either an E27 screw bulb or a B22 pin bulb. That flexibility is its main selling point: if you are unsure which base your bulb has, or you want one spare holder that works with either type, this removes the guesswork. It suits someone replacing a failed pendant or wall socket, or wiring a simple bulb holder for a workshop, store room or corridor.
Before buying, check two things. First, confirm your bulb's base is genuinely E27 or B22, since those are the only two it takes. Second, look at the space you are mounting it in: the holder is about 305mm long and 60mm wide, so it hangs lower than a compact socket. It is rated for AC 220-240V, which matches standard Tanzanian mains, and the PVC body is white. Tronic backs it with a one-year warranty.
