Tronic G9 LED Capsule Bulb 4.5W Warm White 3000K

Our review

This is a small capsule-shaped LED bulb from Tronic, rated at 4.5W and designed to give a warm white light at 3000K. Because it is a G9 fitting, it is the kind of lamp you look for when a fixture is too tight for a standard bulb, such as decorative pendants, cabinet lights, or compact fittings where a full-size lamp simply will not sit. The warm tone suits living areas and places where you want a softer, cosier feel rather than crisp white task lighting.
Before buying, check the fitting in your fixture actually takes a G9 base, since this is not a screw or bayonet cap and will not fit those holders. Also look at the physical size of the old bulb and the space inside the shade, because capsule bulbs vary and a tight enclosure can be awkward. If you are replacing a halogen capsule, a 4.5W LED like this is usually chosen for lower running costs, though brightness depends on the fixture and how many lamps it holds. Compare the colour temperature too: 3000K is warm, so if you want a cooler, whiter look in a kitchen or workspace, a different rating may suit you better. It is available on Sokonia.
