Tronic 30W LED Flood Light with PIR Sensor, Warm White, IP65

Our review

This Tronic flood light is a 30W LED unit with a built-in PIR motion sensor, so it switches on by itself when movement is detected rather than running all night. The light is warm white at 2700K, which reads softer than the stark white of many security lights, and the IP65 rating plus 4kV surge protection mean it is built for outdoor positions exposed to rain and power spikes. It suits a homeowner lighting a driveway, gate, yard or back door who wants automatic, hands-free illumination. Before buying, think about where the sensor can actually see movement, since mounting height, angle and nearby plants or walls affect detection, and confirm the warm tone is what you want for the area. Compare it with flood lights that lack a sensor, which need separate switching or a standalone detector, and with cooler-white models if brightness matters more to you than colour. Check that 30W output covers the space you have in mind.
