Tronic LED Bulb 15W Warm White E27 Screw

Our review

This is a 15-watt LED bulb from Tronic, finished in warm white and fitted with an E27 screw base, the standard threaded cap found on many household lamps and ceiling fittings. Warm white light tends to suit living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where a softer glow is preferred over the cooler tone of daylight bulbs. Because it is an LED, it draws at least 75% less power than an equivalent incandescent bulb, which matters most in rooms where lights stay on for hours each evening. It also lasts far longer, rated at 35 to 50 times the life of incandescent bulbs and roughly 2 to 5 times that of fluorescent ones, so replacements are less frequent. Before buying, check that your fixture takes an E27 screw cap rather than a bayonet fitting, and confirm 15W gives the brightness you want for the space. Compare against other LED bulbs on lifespan and colour temperature, since those two factors affect both running costs and how the room feels.
