Tronic Round Recessed Spot Light LL 1023-GU in Gold

Our review

This Tronic fixture is a round recessed spot light in a gold finish, listed as model LL 1023-GU. It is a bulb holder built to sit flush inside a ceiling, not a complete LED unit, so the light you actually get depends on the GU10 bulb you pair with it. That makes it a sensible choice if you already have GU10 bulbs, or if you want to choose your own beam angle, colour temperature and brightness rather than accept whatever is fixed inside a sealed fitting. Before ordering, confirm your ceiling has the clearance for a recessed housing and that your wiring suits a GU10 holder. Remember the bulb and the bulb connector are sold separately, so budget for both. Compared with integrated LED downlights, this type lets you swap bulbs later, but it needs more parts up front. Check the cutout size your ceiling allows and whether gold matches your other fittings.
