Tronic Candle Filament LED Bulb, 4W Warm White, E14 Small Screw

Our review

This is a candle-shaped LED lamp from Tronic, rated at 4 watts and finished in warm white, with a small E14 screw base. The clear glass and filament construction are meant to echo the look of an old incandescent candle bulb, and the chip-on-glass filament arrangement spreads light in all directions rather than concentrating it in one spot. That makes it a sensible pick for fittings where the bulb itself is visible, such as chandeliers, wall sconces, bedside lamps and decorative fixtures in living rooms or hotel-style interiors. Before ordering, confirm two things: that your fitting takes an E14 small screw rather than the wider E27, and that a candle silhouette and warm white tone suit the room, since cool white changes the mood considerably. Compared with ordinary frosted LED candles, this clear version trades a softer glow for a more decorative, vintage look, and at 4 watts it sits at the lower end of the brightness range, so it is better for accent and ambient light than for reading. If you need stronger output in the same fitting, a higher-wattage candle LED is the alternative to weigh up. Available on Sokonia.
