Tronic Coaxial Cable, 300 Meters

Our review

This is a 300-metre length of coaxial cable from Tronic, intended for signal transmission work such as telecommunications, cable television and networking. The long single run suits installers wiring a whole building, a compound or an outdoor distribution point, rather than someone patching one short connection at home. Before buying, confirm the connector type and impedance your equipment expects, since those determine whether a cable will mate properly, and check the cable's outer diameter against any conduit or trunking you plan to use. Also think about whether you need a single 300-metre reel or several shorter lengths, because cutting and terminating coax adds work and can affect signal quality if done poorly. Compared with generic coax of unknown origin, a branded reel gives you a clearer starting point, but the deciding factors remain the connector, impedance and shielding your installation demands.
