Tronic Pyramid Extension 6 Way 3 Metre Cable

Our review

This is a six-way extension cord from Tronic, built on a three-metre length of flexible power cable. One end carries the plug, the other spreads power across six sockets of the same type, which is the usual arrangement for this kind of lead. It suits anyone who needs to run several low-demand devices from a single wall outlet, such as a desk with a monitor, charger and lamp, or a television corner with a router and media player. Before buying, check the plug and socket type match your wall outlets and the devices you plan to connect, and think about whether three metres is enough to reach from the outlet to where the sockets need to sit. Compare against shorter leads if your outlet is close, and against surge-protected strips if you are plugging in sensitive electronics. The six-way layout is the main thing to weigh against four-way alternatives, since more sockets can mean a longer, bulkier strip. Available on Sokonia.
