Tronic Grace Bell Frosted Glass Wall Lamp with Gold-Finish Arm

Our review

The Grace Bell is a compact wall lamp built around a frosted glass shade shaped like a bell, with smooth curves and a curved arm finished in polished gold. Because the glass is frosted rather than clear, the light it gives off is diffused and soft, which makes it a reasonable candidate for spots where you want gentle ambient light rather than a bright, focused beam. It suits someone furnishing a hallway, bedroom, staircase or reading nook who wants a fixture that reads as elegant without being ornate, and who is happy with a warm, understated look against painted or papered walls.
Before buying, check the practical details the listing does not spell out: the arm's projection from the wall, the shade's diameter, the type of bulb fitting and maximum wattage, and whether the fixture is rated for damp areas if you plan to use it in a bathroom. Also confirm the mounting plate suits your wall type, since glass shades of this kind are heavier than they look and need a solid fixing. Compare it with other frosted-glass wall lights on two points: whether the arm is fixed or adjustable, and whether the finish is real metal or a plated coating that may wear. Available on Sokonia.
