Tronic Power Strip with Switch, EU Plug, Model EC 1602, 16A 3680W

Our review

This Tronic power strip is a basic switched extension unit built around an EU two-pin plug and EU-style sockets, with a PP and copper body in white. Its headline numbers are 250V, 16A and 3680W, which puts it in the heavy-duty end for household strips. That makes it a reasonable pick for a desk setup, a TV corner, or a workshop bench where you want one switch to cut power to several low-draw devices. Before buying, confirm your wall outlet accepts an EU plug, since that plug type will not fit UK-style sockets without an adapter, and check the shape of your existing plugs against EU socket openings. Also add up the wattage of everything you plan to connect and keep it under the stated maximum, remembering that high-draw appliances such as heaters or kettles behave differently from chargers and monitors. Compared with unswitched strips, the switch is the main convenience here; compared with surge-protected models, this listing gives no protection details, so treat it as a plain power strip rather than a safeguard for sensitive electronics. Cable length and socket count are not stated, so verify those on the Sokonia listing before ordering.
