Tronic Surface Downlight Round 6W Daylight LED

Our review

This Tronic surface downlight is a round, 6-watt LED fixture that mounts directly onto the ceiling rather than being recessed into it. It produces a daylight-toned light, which reads as crisp and neutral rather than warm or yellow, so it works well in spaces where you want clear visibility: kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, utility areas, or a home office. Because it is a surface fitting, it suits rooms where there is no ceiling cavity to sink a recessed downlight into, or where you would rather not cut holes in the ceiling. Before buying, check the ceiling surface is flat and sound enough to take a mounted fitting, and think about how many units you need to light the room evenly, since a single 6-watt downlight covers a limited area. If you prefer a softer, warmer atmosphere, compare it with warm white alternatives; if you want a neat flush look and have the ceiling depth, a recessed downlight may suit you better.
