Tronic Triple Pole 10A MCB

Our review

This is a Tronic miniature circuit breaker rated at 10 amps with a triple pole configuration, meaning it switches three conductors together rather than one. That makes it relevant to three-phase circuits, where a fault or overload on any one line should trip all three at once, and to equipment that needs its phases isolated as a group. It suits electricians and anyone specifying protection for a small three-phase load, such as a motor or a distribution sub-circuit, rather than a typical single-phase domestic socket circuit. Before buying, confirm the tripping curve and breaking capacity your installation requires, since those determine whether a breaker is appropriate for the fault current available at that point, and check that the terminal layout and mounting style match your enclosure. Compare it with other triple pole breakers of the same rating on the market, looking at curve type, short-circuit rating and physical dimensions, because two units with identical amp ratings can behave very differently. The listing summary supplied for this item describes a touch sensor mirror light, which does not match the product name, so treat the description with caution and verify the breaker details with the seller before ordering. It is available on Sokonia.
