Tronic Universal Twin Socket with USB, Grey Screwless

Our review

This Tronic twin socket combines two universal outlets with USB charging in a single grey unit, so a phone or tablet can top up without a separate adapter taking up a socket. The screwless faceplate, slim profile, smooth edges and shiny surface are aimed at rooms where fittings are meant to look tidy, such as a home office, study or living area. It suits anyone replacing an old double socket or planning a new point where both plugs and USB are useful. Before buying, confirm the USB output and current rating suit your devices, check the mounting box and wiring in your wall match the unit, and make sure the grey finish works with your existing switches. Compare it with plain twin sockets if you rarely charge by USB, and with metal-fronted alternatives if you want a different look. Available on Sokonia.
