Tronic Vintage LED Bulkhead Wall or Ceiling Light

Our review

This is a bulkhead-style light fitting from Tronic, designed with a vintage look and built around LED rather than a replaceable bulb. Because there is no bulb, there is nothing to swap out when it dims, which simplifies upkeep for spots that are awkward to reach. It can be fixed to either a wall or a ceiling using a few screws, so it works for porches, corridors, stairwells, or utility areas where a compact surface-mounted light makes sense. The light-emitting surface is fairly large, which helps it brighten a space quickly, and the output is described as flicker-free, something worth noting if the light will be on for long stretches in a room you actually sit in. Before buying, check the dimensions and finish against the wall you have in mind, and confirm how it will be wired, since no specifications are listed here. Compared with bulkheads that take replaceable bulbs, this one trades the flexibility of choosing your own bulb for a sealed, low-maintenance setup. If you prefer being able to change brightness or colour temperature later, a bulb-based fitting may suit you better. It is available on Sokonia.
