Westpoint Stand Mixer Deluxe 5L 750W WMXY-051023.P

Our review
This is a tilt-head stand mixer built around a 5-litre stainless steel bowl and a 750W copper motor, with twelve speed settings and a protective cover over the head. It arrives with three tools: a whisk, a flat beater and a dough hook, which covers the three jobs most home bakers rotate between. It suits someone who bakes regularly enough that holding a hand mixer for several minutes has become tiring, or who wants one machine for cake batter, cream and bread dough instead of juggling separate tools. Before buying, think about where it will live, since a stand mixer earns its place on the counter rather than in a cupboard, and check that a 5-litre bowl matches the batch sizes you actually make. Compare it with other stand mixers on motor type, bowl material, how many attachments are included and whether the head tilts or the bowl lifts, because those differences shape daily use more than the headline wattage.
