Westpoint WLZ-1824.PS 18kg Top Load Washing Machine

Our review

This Westpoint unit is a fully automatic top load washing machine with an 18kg drum capacity, a time delay function and a silver finish, listed under model WLZ-1824.PS. The 18kg figure puts it in the larger end of the top load class, so it is worth considering for bigger households, families with children, or anyone who would rather run fewer, fuller loads across bedding, towels and everyday clothing. The time delay lets you set the machine to start later, which can help if you want a cycle to run at a time that suits your routine. Before buying, check the drum capacity against your typical weekly wash volume, confirm the machine's dimensions fit your space, and make sure your water supply and drainage setup suit a top load design. It is also worth comparing against front load alternatives of similar capacity, since top loaders generally use more water per cycle while being easier to load without bending.
